HSCF Forum Meeting- Developing VCS values for our health system

Registration is closed for this event
The HSCF is a network of voluntary and community sector groups with an interest in health and social care. The network is open to any interested individuals or groups.

Following on from Health and Social Care Forum (HSCF) in March 2022 where we updated City and Hackney Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) organisations on changes in the health system (follow this link for details here), we are holding the next HSCF on 19 July 2022.

The purpose of this meeting is to ask the VCS community in City and Hackney how they would like to work together and as part of North East London Integrated Care System, and update on relevant changes.

Questions we will consider during this HSCF:

  • What would make involvement in the health system meaningful for you? What would you want to get out of any meeting you were involved in?
  • What is a VCS alliance and what would we want ours to look like?
  • How do you want to ensure you are - respected, equitable, following VCS principles as part of a VCS alliance. What level of commitment would be manageable?
  • What role should HSCF and network / Special Interest Group meetings play in our area?
  • What information would you like to receive from HCVS and the health system on an ongoing basis? How would you like to learn about the information you need?

It is important to know that the health system is still in flux and so we (and the senior leaders in the NHS/Council) don't know many of the answers, however, we believe it is important to keep the conversation open.
