Good Governance for charities

This training will explore what 'Good Governance' is and how it can successfully be implemented in voluntary and community sector organisations.

By the end of the course participants will:

  • Be aware of the roles and responsibilities of trustees
  • Understand the principles of good governance.
  • Explore the benefits of using the new charity governance code.
  • Explore the benefits and approaches to board review.
  • Be able to identify the components of effective recruitment, induction and ongoing board support.
  • Have the knowledge of changes needed for your organisation.
