1. INTRODUCTION
This workshop aims to achieve a balance by enabling participants to take risks and raise the tough issues without violating their sense of integrity and self-worth.
The workshop is aimed at those who want change and to develop a better understand of people around them – at work, in the community and at home. 

2. LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of the workshop participants will have:
1.    Identified and welcomed similarities and differences within the group
2.    Identified information and misinformation learned about other groups 
3.    Identified and expressed pride in groups to which we/they belong 
4.    Learnt how groups other than our own experience mistreatment
5.    Identified some strategies for being an ally to different groups
6.    Identified some strategies for welcoming diversity
7.    Learnt the personal impact of specific incidents of discrimination
8.    Learnt skills for dealing effectively with bigoted comments and behaviour.
