The WEA Pre-ESOL Provider Open Day on Together We Learn

Registration is closed for this event
Together We Learn is a project delivered by the Workers Education Association (WEA) and funded by the Ministry of Housing with the aim of supporting those with little or no English.

The purpose of the programme is to more fully integrate those with little English into their wider communities through the provision of ESOL learning and integration activities.

So far participants have taken part in a wide variety of integration activities including visiting Kew gardens, visiting the V & A museum, meeting a community health visitor to check blood pressure and cholesterol levels, visiting Camden market and planning a trip to a local pantomime.

Some of our students also visited Alexandra Palace and made a film of their experience.

As well as providing ESOL classes to participants, the WEA is able to fund room hire and pay partner organisations for outreach work. Please come along to find out more about Together We Learn and how your organisation can partner with the WEA and Hackney CVS.
