Project Management for charities Masterclass October
This Masterclass will introduce participants to the principles and concepts of project management - and provide them with the tools and templates to put these ideas into action at their organisation.
This workshop will explore:
- Why project management is an essential skill to manage project successfully.
- How to develop effective practices and manage change.
- Why projects fail and how to minimise the risk of this happening.
- How to apply a project management approach to existing projects of your own.
By the end of today you will be able to:
- Clarify the scope of your projects.
- Strengthen project planning to reduce firefighting and manage time effectively
- Maximise a project’s impact through increased clarity on KPIs, outcomes and impact
- Integrate learning from successes and failures into current and future projects
- Apply techniques for managing change and its implications on project delivery
- Apply practices for good project governance to enhance the impact of the project
- Identify further resources for project delivery and ongoing professional development
