Robust business planning is vital for voluntary organisations in the current climate, to ensure that trustees and staff have a clear and shared picture of future plans and possible scenarios. With the major changes taking place in the voluntary sector, developing a plan is critical to being ready for the future – and to ensuring services can be sustained.

This workshop will enable organisations attending to understand a range of planning tools and techniques and to develop the ability to prepare a robust business plan.


Learning Outcomes

This workshop will enable you to:

• Understand how to develop a busienss plan and measure its success.
• Get started with business planning tools and techniques.
• Understand the importance of an effective fundraising strategy.


Who should attend

The workshop is an beginner-level workshop aimed at charity professionals who have fundraising and business development as part of their job role, or for senior leaders and trustees who are interested in developing their organisation’s strategic planning.


Please note we can accommodate a maximum of two attendees per organisation in order to allow a wide number of charities to benefit from this training.


This workshop has 12 places only, offered on a strictly first-come, first-served basis.
