Registration is closed for this event
"Want to make your organisation stand out from the crowd but don't have the money or know-how to make it happen?" Say goodbye to mountains of text and hello to eye catching publicity materials. Canva is a free online tool that you can use for all of your designs, such as posters, flyers, social media posts, presentations and more.

This practical hands-on course is for anyone working in a voluntary or community organisation that is responsible for designing and communicating publicity for your charity.

In this short course you will:

•learn essential design principles, including font, colour and layouts
•create simple designs with confidence
•download your creations
•discover additional tools and apps you can use in your design work

You will need basic to intermediate computer skills but you do not need to be a techie to take part. You don't need to be a designer either!

You will also need to bring a fully charged laptop to take part. Do let us know if you do not have one.
