Who is it for
This course is aimed at senior managers, charity leaders and people responsible for managing programmes in small and medium-sized charities. It is best suited to those who have responsibility for monitoring and evaluation and demonstrating impact of their work.

- Understand process evaluation and impact evaluation.
- Understand how to plan impact evaluation and getting “evaluation ready”
- Identify how and where you can make the case for different types of evaluation data.
- Understand the different types of evaluation methods.
- Understand how evaluation data can be used for service improvement, fundraising and programme design and development.
Trainer:
Jason Pollard has over 15 years’ experience designing, implementing, and project managing evaluation programmes, and using data to support business development and bid writing. Working with national and international organisations in the voluntary sector (Action for Children, The Children’s Society, Sense, NAVCA, and The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts) and for Government offices (The Charity Commission) Jason has a strong understanding of how data can support charities to deliver effective programmes and meet their objectives. Community Impact CIC was founded in 2021 to support small charities understand the impact they have, use data in support of their work, and become financially sustainable.
