Hackney CVS Black History Season Open Afternoon

This year as part of our Black History Season, we will be hosting an Open Afternoon session where we will be sharing information about our EDI and Anti-Racism strategy.

Afternoon agenda includes:

  • 1pm -Lunch (vegetarian and vegan options available) accompanied by African drumming.
  • 2pm-3.30pm -Workshop on anti-racism facilitated by BLM London. Followed by an update on Hackney CVS's EDI and Anti-Racism Strategy.
  • 3.30-5pm -Drinks Reception to close.

We will also be celebrating the season of Black History and culture with an exhibition in our conference room, showcasing traditional and historical cultural memorabilia whilst also exploring modern day Black activism. The exhibition will be open to the VCS every Friday between 12pm to 2pm.
