Emergency First Aid at Work
This Emergency First Aid at Work course is designed for anyone who needs to or would like to become an accredited emergency first aider in the workplace in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

The 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work course covers the following subjects:
- Role of a First Aider
- Priorities of First Aid
- Managing an Incident
- Causes and care of the unconscious casualty
- Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Bleeding and Shock
- Choking
- Burns and Scalds
- Anaphylaxis
- Manage the Transportation of a Casualty
- Record Keeping & Accident Reporting
- Practical demonstration and use of an AED
Course Outcome:
By the end of the course participants will be qualified First Aiders. This regulated qualification provides learners with the skills and knowledge to deal with first aid situations in low-risk work environments. It is valid for three years.
Please note lunch will not be provided.
