Mental Health First Aid Lite

Rethink deliver an internationally recognised and certificated Mental Health First Aid training delivered by certified Mental Health First Aid England instructors. You don't need any prior qualifications or experience in mental health to take part.

This is an introductory three-hour mental health awareness course

After attending this course you will be able to:

  • Define mental health and some common mental health issues
  • Identify stigma and discrimination surrounding mental health issues
  • Relate to people's experiences and support people in distress
  • Look after your own mental health

This session will be a mix of presentations, discussions, and group work activities. The instructors provide a safe learning environment and are trained to support you throughout the whole course. If you don't feel comfortable joining in certain parts, then there is no pressure to.

You will receive an Adult MHFA Lite manual as well as an attendance certificate from MHFA England.
