FREE Neighbourhoods Equality, Racial and Cultural identity training- 2 part workshop
We are pleased to be working with Mabadiliko to offer this important FREE training opportunity to all 8 Hackney and City Neighbourhoods. We hope the sessions will be a chance to open up thinking and support practical insight towards achieving greater equality and equity in our work and relationship with others.
Part 1: Unconscious bias workshop: Thursday, 8th July, 9.30 to 12.30
Part 2: Racial Cultural Identity workshop: Tuesday, 13th July, 9.30 to 12.30
3 places are available to VCSE organisations per Neighbourhood (limited to one place per organisation) on a first come first served basis. To register for a place, you will need to be able to:
- Attend both part 1 and part 2 workshops (details and dates below)
- Take key messages and learning back to your Neighbourhood, sharing (at the next meeting) personal learning which may help others in our shared commitment to achieving greater equality – whether points of language, awareness or anything else useful to achieving change.
- Follow Mabadiliko’s zoom protocol below.
If you are employed by a VCS organisation, ‘backfill’ funding is available to cover staff expenses/costs for attending this training. For more details, email: victoria@hcvs.org.uk.
