London Fields Neighbourhood Forum

Registration is closed for this event
Our quarterly forum bringing together residents, health practitioners, VCS organisations, and councillors to discuss health priorities and needs of the local area.

Join us for the London Fields Neighbourhood Forum Meeting.

Topic: 'Access to health information from your GP and beyond'In this forum, we bring together NHS and other health and social workers to understand local residents' experiences and feedback to establish where the gaps are and how to address them.

Dr Gopal Mehta will be joining us from Richmond Rd surgery for a Q&A session on issues raised at the last forum around GP access.

The Covid outreach team will be offering optional booster vaccinations in a private area next to the meeting room from 3:30-5pm. People at greatest risk of serious illness from Covid, including care home residents, over 65s and frontline health and social care workers, are eligible for an autumn vaccine booster.

These are the kind of questions we will be inviting your feedback on

  1. What type of health information is difficult for you to find at the moment and why?
  2. Where would you go for help with this?
  3. If you are unable to get an appointment at your surgery, what do you do?
  4. How could local organisations make it easier for residents to get access to health information?
  5. Action plans
