Black Men’s Health Solutions - An Open Space for a Cross Generation Conversation

As part of this year’s Mental Health week male members of the African and Caribbean  community  will reflect on health, healing and help across the generations

Questions
What coping strategies can we adopt from the Windrush experience?
What  culturally appropriate solutions can we recommend to health policy makers and funders?
What lessons and solutions can the young and elders exchange with each other

The findings from this session will be shared at the main  Windrush event in Hackney at Stoke Newington Town Hall on Saturday 22 June 2019

Participants will share; scenarios, solutions and shape mental health and wellbeing strategy.

This session will bring together young black men and the Windrush Generation for mental health awareness week. Together teenagers, adults and elders will explore coping strategies used in the past and current challenges.
