Partnership and collaboration work has become the mantra in the voluntary and community sector over the last few years. Almost any voluntary or community sector activity can be done in collaboration, however, what are the benefits and challenges to collaborative work? What is the current good practice and how do we ensure equitable treatments to all parties involved?

As per our commitment to support the voluntary and community in Hackney, we are holding a series of matchmaking events to introduce voluntary groups who work with the same user group to each other and explain the benefits of collaborative work.

The workshop will focus mainly on dialogue between groups with limited slides to cover:

  • The ‘pros and cons’ of partnership & collaboration
  • Local case studies and successful partnerships
  • The good practice in partnership work.

We also offer training on partnerships and collaboration which can be found here

As part of our move to support partnerships in Hackney, we are offering groups who are interested to work in partnerships 5 one-to-group support sessions to help provide you advice and act as a sounding board for your ideas.

NB: Please bear in mind that the responsibility for arranging and hosting those support sessions will be fall to the groups themselves to nominate a lead organisation to book the time with us.
